Using the system is easy, once registered you can upload as many documents as you need to using our upload system, one of our assessors is notified immediately of the documents and will confirm receipt immediately. (office hours: Monday to Friday 9am-7pm). The assessor will then check the dimension on the calculation and also the compatibility of heating systems and ventilation systems, they will also check U-Values if they are included (this is often where additional credits can be gained).

Once the assessor has completed the checks, they will issue a report confirming the validity of the calculation and also any recommendations they may have, the report can then be downloaded from the member area.

With an upturn in house building pedicted the service will help take some of the pressure of Building Controls and ensure that the SAP Calculations received adhere to Government guidelines.

Another unique part of the service if requested is a check against SAP 2009 (L1a2010) which comes into force next year, should you be thinking of applying for planning permission after March 2010 the service will advise you how SAP2009 will affect your application.
